Michael B. Dolan, CPA is a Tax Partner at Tronconi Segarra & Associates.  Mike graduated from Ithaca College in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Mike has extensive experience in the franchise, manufacturing, non-profit, and health care industries. He has over eleven years of experience in various areas of tax compliance and works primarily in the areas of corporate tax planning, personal financial planning, and small business consulting.

Mike has extensive experience with professional services firms, providing tax consultation and compliance services for physician practices with owner groups ranging in size from single practitioners to as many as 15 partners.  This experience has included working with both independent and hospital-affiliated physician groups.

Additionally, Mike has developed a specialized service niche assisting franchisee businesses with tax consultation and compliance matters particular to their industry, often including issues pertaining to family ownership groups.

Since joining the Firm in 1999, Mike has managed and coordinated numerous due diligence investigations for many clients while working in the divestiture and acquisition arena.  He has also been involved in providing business valuation and accounting software support services to a diverse group of clients.  His 10+ year’s experience with non-profit organizations includes preservation of exempt status through appropriate planning and successful IRS audit defense, and compliance with OMB Circular A-133. 

Mike is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA") and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA").
