Has your not-for-profit organization's tax exempt status been revoked?
On June 8, 2011, the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") published the initial automatic revocation of exemption list of not-for-profit organizations that have had their tax exempt status revoked due to their failure to file an annual return with the IRS for three consecutive years. Contributions to these organizations are no longer tax deductible.
