Patrick M. Tronconi, CPA, is Co-Chair of Tronconi Segarra & Associates’ Tax Department.  Pat graduated (Summa cum Laude) from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1986, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  Pat has 22 years of public accounting experience in the tax area.  He began his career in the Buffalo office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he concentrated in the financial services industry and numerous publicly-traded and closely-held corporate clients.

Patrick has built an expertise in corporate taxation, subchapter C of the Internal Revenue Code, corporate formation, operation, liquidation, distributions, mergers and acquisitions, accounting for income taxes, multi-state tax filings and planning, and extraterritorial income exclusion planning, international tax, and inbound and outbound personal tax compliance for aliens and expatriates.  He also has specialties in tax due diligence and outsourcing a corporate Tax Department.  

In addition to duties as Tax Partner, Pat currently serves as the outside Tax Director for a large foreign-owned aeronautics and aviation related group of companies.  He has been directly involved in the company’s budgeting, tax compliance, planning, and acquisition assistance resulting in annual savings in excess of $1 million.

Pat serves as the Treasurer of Tronconi Segarra & Associates. He served as the Treasurer of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York from 1998 through 2003, and served on the faculty of the Graduate Tax Program at the State University of New York at Buffalo from 1995-2002.  He also taught Introduction to Taxation at a National Level for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston, Texas.

Pat is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA") and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA").
