Tronconi Segarra Professionals to Speak on State & Local Tax Issues
Tronconi Segarra & Associates partner Andy Toth and principal Tom Mazurek have been invited to speak at an upcoming Lorman Education Services seminar geared toward manufacturers in New York State.
Anticipated presentation topics include the new qualified manufacturers' tax credit; tax incentives for new businesses in New York, preparing for and managing a sales and use tax audit, common sales and use tax issues that impact manufacturers, and the production exemption.
Andy Toth, CPA, has been a tax/sales and use tax practitioner for over 25 years. A Canisius College graduate, Andy focuses is practice on managing risk and adding value for multistate businesses by providing services such as nexus studies, voluntary disclosure agreements, due diligence, tax compliance, M&A transaction planning, audit defense, and sales tax utility and refund studies.
Tom Mazurek, CPA, has over 13 years of experience in state & local tax, identifying sales tax overpayments for multistate businesses through sales tax refund studies and utility studies, as well as providing audit defense services to minimize the potential amount of tax due on audits, or identifying overpayments/refunds due. Tom is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo.
